Vacancies at Bonisch

This role offers the opportunity to grow under the guidance of our Senior Engineers, delivering end-to-end involvement, from design through to construction supervision on a diverse range of exciting land development and civil infrastructure projects throughout New Zealand.  

The requirements of the role is flexible to suit the successful candidate, but may include the following

• Investigation, planning, and design of civil infrastructure (roading and 3 waters), including local authority works as well as subdivisions and other land development projects

• Proficiency in Civil 3D including both design modelling and plan production

• Contract management and quality assurance of construction projects.

Our ideal candidate will bring a great attitude and high level of enthusiasm to their work, as well as an ability to build and maintain effective relationships with our clients, colleagues, councils, consultants, and other stakeholders.  Strong time management and organisational skills are important, and you will have a focus on professional development, actively seeking out learning opportunities whenever possible.  A passion for maximising the potential of projects and developments for the benefit of our clients is non-negotiable!

To be successful in this role you will also: 

• Have a civil engineering qualification, diploma level or above.

• Have at least 5 + years post graduate working experience, ideally within a consultant or design environment.

• Be a user of Civil 3D.

• Experience in report writing and project management through consenting processes would be a bonus.

• Being a user of HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM would be a bonus.

• Be willing to get stuck in wherever you can!
